Top 5, Noob Blogger Moments

I’m sure each and every blogger out there has a short list of silly, funny or embarrassing things they did as brand new bloggers.

Here are my top 5 noob moments since start up.

5. Sticking a stat counter in the footer of my brand new blog and announcing to the blogosphere that I had a whopping 4 page views…

4. Buying several pricey commercial wordpress templates before I decided this was the one that I was going to use. This one, of course, being one of the first I had originally bought…

3. Puzzling over why a post I had just submitted never showed up on the front page. Eventually discovering later on that I had hit save instead of publish…

2. Anxiously submitting my site for approval to BlogRush after I’d completed my third article, and having to wait another month before I could resubmit it because I was turned down for lack of content…

And the most noobish moment I’ve had here since start up…

1. Getting really excited 5 minutes after my first entry was published when I was notified that I had my very first comment. Arriving here with much anticipation for what it may say, only to discover some damn rss aggregator blog had published a snippet of the post with a link to it, and it was just a freaking pingback…
