Dante’s Inferno, the Video Game

December 17, 2008

Electronic Arts, the studio responsible for the hit horror game Dead Space, has announced that they are working on a major new title in the third person action and adventure game genre. That title is none other than Dante’s Inferno. [Read more]

Sound Problem in Silent Hill 5?

December 4, 2008

If you’re having audio issues with the PC version of Silent Hill: Homecoming, read on for a tip that may help.

Remember to make a windows system restore point, and take whatever other precautions you can to make sure you are able to undo your changes in the event of disaster. I’m not responsible for what happens on your computer if you try the following and it fails miserably.

When I first started up Silent Hill 5 I noticed something was off — literally. [Read more]

Deadly Creatures for Nintendo Wii

November 30, 2008

Looks like there’s a creepy crawly video game to look forward to, coming out for the Nintendo Wii within the next few months. There’s conflicting information on the actual release date however. Some places say mid December 2008, and others have a release date of February 9, 2009 listed. [Read more]

Hotel 626 Tips, a Walkthrough and Guide

November 14, 2008

Due to the popularity of my original post about Hotel 626, I’ve decided to revisit the Hotel and write a guide and walk-through for you. With 30 or so comments on the original post, it’s getting a little hard to get straight to the tips and answers which I know so many of you are searching for on google and yahoo. [Read more]

Silent Hill 5: Better Late than Never?

November 7, 2008

Silent Hill: Homecoming has finally been released by Valve. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see it available for purchase. I still want to stab Konami or Steam, or whoever is responsible for the ridiculous delay, in the leg and pour turpentine inside the wound, but I guess I will forgive them if this latest in the series doesn’t suck. Pyramid Head, He Rapes Things

November 5, 2008

The beast known as Pyramid Head has gone from being a fairly minor character in the Silent Hill franchise to a meme and even a cult icon. The character has spawned a lot of creative fan art from digital renderings to paper craft. You can even find people dressing up like him in costume — probably to score with chicks dressed like broken face monsters. [Read more]

Silent Hill 5: Nevercoming

October 29, 2008

It seriously feels that way; as if it’s truly never coming. After I wrote about Silent Hill: Homecoming originally, I started poking around trying to find out more information about the delay. I have been mostly unsuccessful in digging anything reassuring up. [Read more]

Hotel 626 - Your Room is Ready

October 15, 2008

If you’re looking for something fun to try this Halloween, I highly recommend you check this site out. It’s a piece of viral advertising from Frito-Lay, but don’t let the word advertising give you pause: this isn’t some commercial you watch.. it’s a highly interactive and frightening puzzle you have to work your way through.

NEW: Looking for help with Hotel 626? I’ve created a walkthrough and guide for Hotel 626 with detailed tips on how to beat each level. [Read more]

Gaming Smack Talk - Call of Duty

October 11, 2008

I’ve played a lot of different online games over the years, but the one that has amused me the most as far as gaming trash talk goes is Call of Duty 4, hands down. Call of Duty 2 gets an honorable mention here, but thanks to the release of CoD4 all the really badass players migrated to Modern Warfare eventually. [Read more]

Silent Hill: Homecoming

October 4, 2008

Silent Hill V, now known as Silent Hill Homecoming, was set to release on September 30, 2008 as far as I can tell. Because I don’t have a console I’m not paying much attention to those versions of the game, but I am interested in the PC version. The downloadable one to be specific. [Read more]
