New Look For Lara Flynn Boyle?

March 31, 2008

lara1.jpgLara Flynn Boyle once said, “As soon as you get over caring what people think, you can have a nice time.” I hope she seriously feels that way, because there’s something not quite right about her apperance right now - and people have noticed. What the hell happened to that sleek looking attorney I remember from The Practice? [Read more]

First Person Campers

March 31, 2008

camping1.jpgIf you’ve ever stepped inside a first person shooter game in multiplayer, you’re surely familiar with the term camper. Every time I see someone type the astute, “omg wtf.. y u campn,” or the more expressive, “fU campre fagget!11,” I have to laugh at both the rage that it spawns and the fact that these players seem really obsessive about something that relates to pitching tents. Paris Hilton Is Goofy

March 30, 2008

parish1.jpgThere are a ton of Celebrity bashing blogs already, so I’m gonna avoid going down that route and have used a mildly playful title to help steer me away from that.

But dammit, it’s just so easy to get critical, isn’t it, with her?

During her recent trip to South Africa she said, “I love Africa in general — South Africa and West Africa, they are both great countries.” [Read more]

Pastor Takes Road Trip

March 30, 2008

lostpriest.jpg(Mat 5:27-30) “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ {28} But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

If that’s the case, this poor bloke has some splainin’ to do! [Read more]

Tiger Attacks Cause Cleptomania

March 30, 2008

tigertheif.jpg

Who’d have thought getting mauled and surviving a tiger attack on Christmas would cause someone to try and steal video game accessories!

Well, not really. But for some reason this article from the San Francisco Chronicle kept mentioning that the suspect survived a tiger attack, Christmas last year, at the SF Zoo. [Read more]

Yo, Joe! American Hero.

March 26, 2008

gijoemovie.jpgHe’ll fight for freedom wherever there’s trouble. Fighting to save the day. He never gives up. He’s always there. Fighting for freedom over land, sea and air!

GI Joe, the well known American Hero, is set to hit the big screen in the summer of 2009. And while that’s a long ass time from now, a few details have already been released about the upcoming live action movie. [Read more]

The Sims 3

March 26, 2008

sims3.jpgWell, it’s time to find a countdown to 2009 widget, because sometime next year the next installment of Electronic Arts’ Sims is going to be released, and it’s looking like it could be one of the most anticipated games we may see next year. I can’t wait. [Read more]

Jaws Unleashed

March 17, 2008

I’ve got to say straight away that I’m a little disappointed. Not with this game, but with most of the reviews I came across for this title. I guess to each their own. But I’m glad I gave it a shot even after reading some of the comments out there.

I’m playing the PC version, so I can’t really say how similar or different the console versions may be. But other than how you go about controlling this, it’s probably much the same experience all in all. [Read more]

Grand Theft Auto IV

March 16, 2008

grandtheftauto4.jpgI’m pretty excited about GTA:IV. It looks badass, and I can’t wait to play. Unfortunately, I’ll have to.

I’m not a console player anymore. Haven’t owned one for a few years. The last console I played was Playstation 2. The last console I attempted to buy was the XBOX 360. The original attempts to get a 360 (at launch) failed miserably and I haven’t bothered trying to buy it or the new Playstation since. [Read more]

Big Trouble in Little Azeroth

March 16, 2008

jackburton.jpgMovies and games are two of my favorite subjects, and this is a cross over reference that I was completely oblivious to for a long time.

I queued up Big Trouble in Little China into Netflix recently.

Now, I can’t remember the last time I watched this, but it was just as good as I remember it being. And later on during the movie, something clicked in my head. [Read more]
